Europe 2016 Trip Day 13 – Gibraltar

I had seen the rock of Gibraltar in movies and knew of its location at the mouth of the Mediterranean, but still did not know what to expect there. It turned out to be a delightful day with much to see and do and we found out we were there on National Day, the equivalent of July 4th in the US. We visited St. Michael’s cave, the house where John and yoko were married, and saw much partying in town, but the real thing of interest for Flora was the Barbary Macaques. After a wonderful walk around the town, we walked back to the ship to enjoy the evening.
